Now that the diploma exam is over, most students are taking their long-deserved break after 15 weeks of classes, assignments, projects, productions and assessments. Others who have just completed their two-and-a-half years of diploma studies may find themselves at a crossroad deciding between various further study or work options.
While some have charted their next course of action, others are still pondering about what to do next. Questions like what shall I do now?, where do I head to next?, should I further my education or should I start working? often flood the minds of these young adults. Although it’s not uncommon for students of this age to be undecided about their future, it’s good that they do not take too long to set their direction in life because time and tide wait for no man.
In today’s intensely competitive job market, it has become more challenging to find employment with just a diploma. With an abundance of degree holders in the country, employers are raising the requirements for entry-level positions. As such, diploma holders should seriously consider pursuing their degree. A degree may not guarantee you a job, but it sure enhances your employability and promotion opportunities besides boosting your self-esteem.
A tertiary education gives you theoretical knowledge, analytical skills and competencies. It is also a ticket for you to pursue your postgraduate studies should you decide to join the academia or even take your career to the next level. So if you have set your sight on pursuing a degree, look no further than Han Chiang College (HCC).
