Han Chiang University College of Communication’s (HCUC) student ambassadors showed their appreciation to all HCUC staff and students by giving away free food through the Appreciation Project 6.0, recently.
Student Ambassador’s lecturer cum advisor Ms Jayslyn Saw said the project was organised to show their gratitude to the HCUC community for all the support given to them all this while, especially during their past events.
“This is not the first time we organise such a project. In line with the project’s tagline, We Care We Share, the team feels that this is a good move to ‘give back’ to all the staff and students as they have been very supportive towards us whenever we organise events.
“Although this may be a small project for some people, I believe this effort will not only help to strengthen the teamwork among the team members, but also the relationship between the HCUC staff and students,” she said.
More than 150 packed food such as nasi lemak and spaghetti carbonara were distributed to the staff and students.
Meanwhile, School of Business and Management student Nur Ain Fatihah said the project was a good example that can be carried out by other students as well.
“I personally feel that this kind of project should be done continuously, perhaps in different approaches too, so that we can learn to appreciate one another more,” she said.
