Han Chiang College (HCC) student ambassadors indulged all College staff and students’ sweet tooth as a sign of appreciation and love.
The ambassadors kept College lecturers, staff and students sweet as they distributed RM500 worth of cakes and ice cream on campus.
The president Alice Ang, a second year Diploma in Mass Communication student, said the ambassadors decided to add a little joy to everyone’s day and show that they appreciate everyone’s effort and support for their small team.
“We even gave cakes to the cleaners and guards because they help keep the College environment clean and safe,” Alice said adding that the money spent on the desserts were profits made during their Valentine’s Day sale activity.
HCC Principal Dr Beh Kok Hooi complimented the students for using food to promote unity among people who do not always have something in common.
“This is such a refreshing and clever idea and well done to the students for injecting such enthusiasm in what they do,” Beh said.
The College ambassadors are made up of students from different schools and they often organise activities to help build and develop friendships.
They will be recruiting for more ambassadors in June.
