A total of 83 participants attended the two-day conference held on 25-26 October 2017 at School of Humanities, USM with the theme ‘Empowering People’. The theme served well as a platform for multistakeholders to understand and promote the role of creativity in the development of education and humanities, which is considered as a source of creativity in society at large.
Aimed at both practitioners and scholars, NCC 2017 explored the creative ecosystem in relation to both the formal and informal education and humanities contexts, and examined the notion of “ubiquitous creativity” as it relates to education and humanities.
The two day conference which attracted international and local participants comprised various sessions for presenters (oral and poster) and forum presentations by invited speakers.
