GEORGE TOWN: Han Chiang University College of Communication (HCUC) is pleased to implement an instalment mode for payment of tuition fees in its coming semester to ease the financial impact of Covid-19 pandemic.
Students who are facing financial problems are allowed to pay the first instalment of RM300 of their tuition fees in April, and the subsequent payments can be made in May, June and July.
HCUC Vice Chancellor, Dr Beh Kok Hooi explained that HCUC understands that some families may be facing financial problems during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period. Thus, the college wishes to provide a flexible payment method of tuition fees to reduce the financial burden of their families.
He said that HCUC as a not-for-profit higher education institution always emphasises matters related to the welfare and concern of its students and tries to complement the needs of the surrounding community.
HCUC students who are pursuing foundation, diploma or degree courses are allowed to apply for the monthly instalment package through the finance department when the semester begins.
